The Marketing Manager leads Chemicaland’s entire marketing strategy, brand growth, product positioning, digital footprint, market expansion, customer segmentation, van sales support, demand generation, and coordination between agronomists, digital team, sales, production, and the board.
This role demands a strategic, innovative, data-driven, high-performance leader capable of transforming Chemicaland into a dominant agro-input brand in Kenya and across Africa.
A. Strategy & Planning;
Develop 3-year marketing plan aligned with sales target.
Lead brand positioning for all products.
Drive product life cycle management.
Manage market segmentation and regional marketing plans.
B. Campaigns & Execution;
Oversee digital, field, van sales, and regional campaigns.
Lead farmer trials, demos, and field days.
Ensure alignment with regulatory compliance communication.
C. People & Team Leadership
Supervise;
Digital marketing team
Marketing executives
Agronomists
Communication Officer
Interns (Marketing & Technical)
D. Reporting & Analytics;
Maintain real-time dashboards for marketing performance, leads, conversions, campaigns ROI, cost-per-acquisition, and regional performance.
Minimum Qualifications;
Degree in Marketing, Agribusiness, Commerce, or related.
5–8+ years experience in Agro-input/FMCG/Manufacturing.
Proven success running field marketing, digital, and farmer engagement.
28 - 45 years of age preffered.
